About Radiant Hope Ministry

Radiant Hope Ministry is a Christ-centered ministry led by Tami Qualls, dedicated to sharing hope, healing, and truth through Jesus Christ. Through speaking, teaching, and encouragement, the ministry seeks to help individuals grow in their faith, discover their identity in Christ, and walk confidently in His purpose. This ministry strives to share the truth of God’s Word and help everyone live in the radiant light that comes from our Heavenly Father.

About Tami Qualls

Born and raised in Galesburg, Illinois, Tami Qualls accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior as a ninth grader at a Galesburg First Church of the Nazarene revival. That decision shaped the foundation of her life and continues to guide her passion for serving others and sharing God’s truth.

Tami earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and English from Olivet Nazarene University and went on to receive her master’s degree in Educational Leadership and then an Educational Specialist degree from Western Illinois University. She spent 39 years teaching and coaching junior high and high school students in Detroit, Michigan; Lynn, Indiana; and Galesburg, Illinois, where she impacted countless lives both inside and outside the classroom.

Throughout her career and beyond, Tami has been deeply involved in her community and church, serving through organizations such as the Red Cross, Relay for Life, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and various local initiatives. She has also coached multiple sports, led student programs, and remained committed to mentoring and encouraging others in every season of life.

Tami is an active member of Galesburg Nazarene, where she leads weekly prayer groups, small groups, and participates in a variety of ministries. She has spoken at churches, conferences, community events, and through media such as radio and blogs. She also wrote a weekly column for over eleven years titled Lessons on Life, sharing wisdom and encouragement with her community and leads a monthly book talk group for over 27 years.

Now retired from a long and meaningful career in education, Tami is focusing on her calling as a speaker and writer. She is the founder of Radiant Hope Ministry, inspired by Psalm 34:5:

“Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.”

Tami is passionate about encouraging others to grow in their faith, to walk through life’s challenges with hope, and to fully embrace their identity in Christ. Above all, she considers one of her greatest blessings to be raising her three daughters who love and serve the Lord.

What We Believe

At Radiant Hope Ministry, we believe in the truth and authority of God’s Word and seek to share the hope of the Gospel with all people.

The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, revealing His truth and guiding our lives.

God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again, offering salvation and eternal life to all who believe in Him.

Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by works.

The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within believers, guiding, comforting, and transforming us to live according to God’s will.

Identity in Christ
We believe that every person is created in the image of God and that, through Christ, we are redeemed, loved, and given a new identity in Him.

The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to love, serve, and share the Gospel with the world.

Our Mission
Our mission is to share the hope and truth of Jesus Christ, helping individuals grow in their faith and experience transformation as they walk with Him, becoming radiant through His love and redeeming power.
